SNL confirmed via Twitter today that Kanye West will indeed be the headlining musical guest for the finale of the 38th season of the NBC late-night sketch comedy show. Long rumored, West’s appearance will coincide with Ben Affleck’s fifth appearance as guest host. Could ‘Ye’s performance mark yet another debut of brand new material in a public forum – much like “Power” at the 2010 BET Awards and “Runaway” at 2010’s MTV Video Music Awards?
