i-D Magazine “BAPE’s Natives” Editorial featuring Ian Connor, Anwar Carrots & Travi$ Scott

i-D Magazine takes an interesting examination of iconic brand A Bathing Ape through the eyes of its staunchest supporters. The cultural importance of BAPE, as many readers can surely attest, cannot be overstated. Under the direction of NIGO, BAPE has influenced a legion of 20-somethings in both dress and perspective. Dexter Navy of i-D pulled Ian Connor, Anwar Carrots, and Travi$ Scott aside for a brief discussion of how they came to know BAPE and what the brand means to them as it celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. While 20 years is a long time in fashion, the brand looks and feels as fresh as it ever has. Head over to i-D Online to read the piece in its entirety.
