Hiroshima Folding Chair by Naoto Fukasawa
Known for his minimalist aesthetic that sees the transposition of human unconsciousness into design
Known for his minimalist aesthetic that sees the transposition of human unconsciousness into design – a concept simply dubbed “without thought” – designer Naoto Fukasawa has crafted a folding chair as the latest addition to his “Hiroshima” collection of furniture. Like the other pieces in the collection, the folding chair is specifically crafted with a simple and subtle structure in order to highlight the natural woods used in construction – an aesthetic that also lends itself to versatile use from the home or office to the dining room and even the outdoors. Constructed either of beech or oak with a urethane finish, Fukasawa’s Hiroshima Folding Chair is now available in a total of six different colors via Maruni.
