Exploring the Work of Pretty Puke and the 2013 ALIFE Spring Campaign

Furthering our coverage of ALIFE’s long overdue relaunch, HBTV links with the creative collective’s recent collaborator Miller Rodriguez – known as P//RETTY PUKE to the art world – for an introspective video feature on the young photographer and his peaceful digs. Having made his mark through certain social media outlets, the New York native and his still photography provides a unique yet relatable commentary to the wild lifestyles of his city-dwelling comrades. His images are full of half-naked women in ironic poses, hip-hop references, drug paraphernalia, famous faces and anything else that reminds you of a night of metropolis partying. For a closer look at his ALIFE production – purchasable here – as well as a discussion on everything from his introduction to photography to current inspirations, check out the above video.
