COMEFORBREAKFAST is an independent label created in 2009 by Antonio Romano and Francesco Alagna. Inspired by “Afro-American culture” — with influences ranging from jazz to urban subcultures in fashion and hip-hop — the Fall/Winter 2013 collection is equal parts street and contemporary fashion. Feminine and masculine silhouettes abound in unisex cuts and lines, while the use of tech fabrics, chemical treatments and layering pushes the clothes into cutting-edge territory. Oversize parkas or bombers, voluminously-cut trousers, jacquard knits, sleeveless maxi jackets and hooded waistcoats all feature this season, while suiting is updated through the use of technological fabrics and enzyme-washed denim.
