Zaha Hadid x Neil Barrett Shop-In-Shop

Zaha Hadid, the celebrated architect responsible for a slew of masterpieces across the world, has a body of work that influences art and fashion (for an example, see Chanel’s Mobile Art Pavilion). Her latest work is a collaboration with high-end retailer Neil Barrett. Though a departure from what people may consider “classic” Hadid, the installations are in the architect’s definitive graceful, geometric style. Drawing on the idea of a shop-in-shop, each structure is a piece of a larger whole – not unlike retail locations themselves. The pieces can be used to direct store traffic, but are also meant to provide a unique sense of engagement within the minimalistic feel of Neil Barrett retail locations. For now, Hadid’s shop-in-shops are located in Seoul and Hong Kong.
