From sharply-tailored suits and perfectly crisp shirts to equally sophisticated off-duty wear, the ’60s male took pride in what he wore. I Love Ugly‘s Spring/Summer 2013 collection was inspired by the man of this era, as well as the wardrobe that was an extension of his lifestyle. Broken down into three simple categories — formal wear, casual wear and footwear — this season’s offerings reinterpret and reinvent classic menswear elements with the label’s signature twists. Lightweight spring parkas feature in simple silhouettes and neutral colors, while shirting is updated with paisley and contrasting panels for visual flair. And, for fans of I Love Ugly’s much-loved Zespy Pant, the hybrid returns for spring in beige and dark grey, along with an array of graphic tees and classic caps.
