The clean lines of early Danish architecture characterize this season’s collection from Han Kjøbenhavn, one of a handful of labels at the forefront of Copenhagen’s burgeoning menswear scene. With a varied selection of materials and hand-dyed treatments, Spring/Summer 2013 features wearable styles in tailored fits and a neutral color palette — cardigans in soft, teddy fleece and patterned trench coats in dots, camouflage and indigo-dyed finishes. Also of note, meanwhile, is shirting in all-over bird prints and embroidered makeups – wardrobe basics given contemporary twists for the season. Directed by Casper Balslev, the film is the label’s fourth, and features a motley cast handpicked from the streets of Copenhagen.
