For its newest project, London-based David Mikhail Architects presents a renovation of a preserved Georgian-style home in East London. The project, called the East London House, extends, excavates and extensively remodels the private home, with a special focus on the entrance of natural light. This has been achieved through a minimalistic white brick and grey lime mortar color palate, which bounces light throughout and unifies the interior and outdoor spaces. The interior has been preserved to recall the classical look of the space, but the exterior addition of a dining room and family area to the home lends a certain warmth within the home.
