It may not be an exact replica of the mythical Air Jordan 1 black/gold OG from 1985, nor is it a reproduction of the retro release from 2003, but a version of the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG black/gold is set to drop next month. True to OG form — and sure to delight those who’ve complained for years about the Jumpman logo — is the return of Nike Air branding, along with 2003′s black patent leather uppers and gold accents. Updates, meanwhile, take the form of a gold-stitched midsole in white and a glittery, gold-speckled translucent outsole. And, unlike the unicorn that is the ’85 OG silhouette, the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Black/Gold should be easier to acquire with an April 13 release at Jordan Brand retailers and a price tag of $140 USD.
