English designer, photographer, director and all-around creative Adrien Sauvage presents the 2013 spring/summer lookbook from his eponymous A. Sauvage label. Culling inspiration from his native Fante Tribe in Africa, Sauvage’s seasonal collection takes cues from Ghanian history, family lineage, and the local fishing communities of the Cape Coast. As such, the new “Afropolitan” collection features Sauvage’s takes on menswear staples like suiting, bombers, tees and more, but also incorporates unique camouflage patterns and dancing tribesman graphics inspired by the social and political messages of Asafo flags.
