Y-3 2013 Fall/Winter Collection

Designer Yohji Yamamoto and his Y-3 imprint presented a sporty and urban collection for Fall/Winter 2013 during New York Fashion Week. Utilizing a theme of “future thrift,” the collection imagines how coming generations might mix elements of technology and tradition — with a universal theme of bold and bright colors like “ultra-pop” (acidgreen), “alpha-pop” (hot pink) and “warning” (bright orange). Key pieces include quilted blazers trimmed in grosgrain and button-down shirts inlaid with an abstract, barely perceptible Y-motif. Expect to see the Fall/Winter 2013 collection from Y-3 at select stockists in the near future.
