SUPER 2013 New Releases

In the spring of 2007, Daniel Beckerman launched SUPER by RETROSUPERFUTURE. Sensing a void in the market for fun, colorful eyewear, Beckerman — also the publisher of Italy’s PIG Magazine with brother Simon — created a line of sunglasses that would later ignite the phenomenon of colored acetate frames. And, despite the label’s aesthetic ambitions, SUPER’s sunglasses never skimp on quality or craftsmanship — the frames are made in Italy from premium materials and feature Zeiss lenses. New for 2013 are updates of the eyewear label’s original silhouettes, along with new incarnations of its more recent styles. Grounded by the Classic in various colorways, SUPER’s new releases also include versions of the America, Luciano, and Ciccio frames in updated makeups and hues. More luxurious, leather-wrapped eyewear, meanwhile, is provided by way of the label’s Flat Top and Racer styles for a blend of classic style and sumptuous materials.
