According to WWD, Riccardo Tisci, who has revved up Givenchy with his bold and daring designs, has extended his contract with the French house. Noting that the label is shifting into “expansion mode” to capitalize on the buzz surrounding both the designer and the brand due in large part to the duality created by his sweatshirts and tees, his renewal marks a partnership that was first forged back in 2005. Givenchy officials declined to comment on the reports, but more concrete details should be apparent very shortly.
