UPDATE: OriginalFake KAWS Companion "Seated" Black Preview

Ahead of the brand’s impending closure comes a glimpse at what may end up being the final KAWS Companion release from OriginalFake. Dressed in a somber all-black motif similar to the recent “Resting Place” edition of the figure, the “Seated” Companion appears with its head in its hands as if overwhelmed by the finality of OriginalFake. A fitting and symbolic end for the Medicom Toy-produced figurine, the “Seated” black Companion will likely debut as a part of the Spring/Summer 2013 collection in the months ahead.

*UPDATE: KAWS today made the official announcement that this character is a false bootleg and not authentic. Taking to his Instagram profile, the artist advised:

“This is a bootleg… (I would hope you could tell by the crap sculpt but many people seem to be putting it on their blog) @hypebeast and many others…”
