Though the horse has been long beaten for originality in jeans, mastermind JAPAN‘s Spring/Summer 2013 releases bring a refreshing, though unpretentious, take on denim with their new collection. The theme of the collection is “dreaming,” and as such, head designer Masaaki Honma has imaginatively decorated eight fits of mastermind’s line with the brand’s skull logo on each pairs’ left thigh and right ankle. Where a lot of jacquard denim is printed all over, this offering takes to select areas of the pant, giving it a distinct look without overwhelming the garment.
