We’ve had a glimpse at the Mark McNairy New Amsterdam 2013 fall/winter collection, now we see the flamboyant range come to life via backstage preparations and front seat visual treatment. Presenting its interpretation of traditional menswear, a range of otherwise quaint profiles see whimsical interpretations – polka-dot prints, color block designs and all-over smiley face patterns – sitting boisterously amidst blazers, trench coats and plaid button-downs. Blending chimera hues with timeless herringbone outfitting, rounded by a directional sneaker range with Modern Vice and adidas, the runway show flaunts the label’s affinity towards hip-hop connotations over dapper silhouettes - an equilibrium McNairy nails perfectly.
