Levi’s Streetwear 2013 Spring/Summer Lookbook

Americana heritage label Levi’s is of course synonymous with fine denim being the first to produce a pair of jeans during the later part of the 19th century. Its famous silhouettes and quality materials have become the go-to jeans for many style genres across the world. Capitalizing on its superior brand equity, the California-headquartered label decided to craft a line devoted specifically to skateboarding culture and all those who are passionate about street style. Having already offered a glimpse to its upcoming spring/summer collection with a short video piece seen here, Levi’s sends over a lookbook highlighting key drops from the said range with help from European skateboarders Jacob Ovgren and Alessandro Magnani. The latest collection will feature a mix of authentic skate basics as well as the first STA-PREST™ shorts that limit wrinkling, a variety of new tops, parkas, and more. Levi’s Streetwear will also offer a line of denim with a lightweight stretch fabric, reinforced seams and bar tracks at critical stress points, triple-layered belt loops, and chain stitching at the hems. Each pair of jeans will also see the now iconic black Levi’s® Tab® on its back right pocket, a black Two Horse Patch, black rubber-coated hems, and heritage-inspired buttons and rivets in a black matte finish. Unfortunately this collection is exclusive to the European market with boutiques like Slam City Skates and FTC being the first to see spring drops.
