In a tongue-and-cheek nod to how we communicate in today’s connected, yet disconnected world, Lanvin Creative Director Alber Elbaz gives feedback on the brand’s new campaign via a Skype video call for their spring/summer video. According to sources, the inspiration for the editorial came from Elbaz’s inability to actually be in New York City for the various shoots because of Hurricane Sandy. In a true “when life gives you lemons, make lemonade” spirit, Lanvin continues to be a luxury fashion house with a sense of humor.
