With the newly designed FuelBand SE retailing for over a month now, Nike enlisted the creative branding agency AKQA to help launch a practical how-to guide for understanding the new metric system put in place by the updated activity tracking bracelet. Calibrated to filter out movements that shouldn’t necessarily earn the same amount of Fuel as say running a 5k, the upgraded FuelBand SE is smarter and more intuitive. The Fuel Guide as it is named, will be available both digitally and in select retail spaces to help users reach their daily goals and have fun doing so. This update features interviews, maps, organized activities, exclusive rewards, and the addition of NikeFuel Stickers that are placed throughout specific cities with inspiring messages that promote constant participation. Currently available to those in Paris and London, additional city guides will release every month throughout 2014.
