Moving away from sunny Daytona Beach, Kith now honors its own New York heritage through a new apparel capsule – “New York Natives – 1996.” Kith imagined its own hypothetical aesthetic circa 1996, translating familiar logo-heavy sportswear looks into a wearable, modern collection. Accordingly, the range features two Golden Bear varsity jackets, a button-down shirt, hoodies, snapbacks, and sweatpants, all of which allude to New York’s native children through a specially-designed ‘chief head’ logo. Sporting these pieces above is legendary New York emcee AZ, who perfectly encapsulates the attitude of mid-’90s rap culture. Look for the collection to drop online and at both Kith locations in New York City on December 14.
