Though it is in the distinct business of creating homey accommodations in any location, at the end of the day AirBNB needs its own nest. To cope with its impressive growth over the past few years, the burgeoning website has recently settled in a revamped industrial building in San Francisco. Designed and executed by design firm Gensler, the building cleverly replicates some of the most cozy rooms listed on the site, turning them into thought-provoking, expansive workplaces. In keeping with this aesthetic, AirBNB swaps an industrial cafeteria with a large-scale kitchen for its 200 employees, and has made a 1,226-square-foot green wall the centerpiece of its majestic space.
