HYPEBEAST Road Trips Japan: The Full Life-Time Experience At the Café Kitsuné

HYPEBEAST Road Trips Japan makes another stop along Tokyo’s vibrant café scene with a stop at Café Kitsuné. No stranger to these pages at HYPEBEAST, French record label and fashion brand Kitsuné has undoubtedly created a full-on lifestyle experience. Even prior to the opening of this full-fledged coffee shop meets retail space, the brand had garnered much attention for its ability to merge many different worlds to curate its very own Kitsuné lifestyle. The Aoyama-based space features the architectural direction from French firm FHC as founders Masaya Kuroki and Gildas Loaëc look to maintain some of the character of the original Paris flagship. Japanese cedar parquet floor is one of the defining design elements of the space as is the open courtyard. For the coffee and subsequent accouterments, Café Kitsuné features a familiar name in Omotesando Koffee.
