Paying homage to its favorite skate spot in Rotterdam, Dutch imprint Dufarge has designed a colorful limited edition deck inspired by architect Rem Koolhaas and the famed OMA Museum Park. Aptly dubbed “Rem’s Flag,” the design features the park’s so-called “EU Barcode” designed by Koolhaas and the OMA’s AMO think-tank back in 2001 and ultimately completed in 2011 – a motif meant to represent the European Union and “the common effort of different nations, with each state retaining its own cultural identity while sharing the advantages of acting together.” Limited to just 80 hand-numbered boards and screenprinted by American company Generator, Dufarge’s OMA Flag Deck is now available online in both 8” and 8.25” sizes.
