In a move to advance its delivery system and reduce delivery times to well under an hour, Amazon has previewed its latest development in research and design: the Amazon Prime Air Delivery system, which is set to use unmanned drones to deliver consumer products as quickly as possible. Although the Prime Air system is still several years away from being commercially feasible and has yet to receive approval from the Federal Aviation Administration, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos is confident that within a few years the Prime Air system will be as common a sight as mail delivery trucks on the road.
