Jay Z’s eighth studio album – The Black Album – debuted in 2003 at number one on the Billboard charts and has since gone on to sell over 3 million copies in the United States alone. Arguably one of his better projects, The Black Album will celebrate its 10-year anniversary later this month. To pay tribute, Life+Times sat down with Pharrell – producer of “Change Clothes” and “Allure” – to discuss his experiences with the Brooklyn mogul. In the six-minute clip, Williams touches on everything from his color inspirations – as you know the polymath sees sounds – to Jay’s mastering longevity.
