Longtime adidas collaborator and designer Yohji Yamamoto creates the following special edition adidas Soccer release with this eye-catching adizero f50. No stranger to incorporating soccer-minded design into his ranges, this latest release incorporates strong Japanese-centric imagery including imperial lion-dogs who once guarded the emperors of Japan. However, through a modern update they have now been placed in the context of Japan’s sci-fi culture to unite the past and present. The ultra lightweight boot weighs in at a paltry 165g, with a special placement for adidas’s miCoach system. The boot will be limited to 2,000 pairs globally with a drop set for Monday, October 28.
