Despite its name, Jun Takahashi‘s UNDERCOVER brand is continuing to transcend its ‘cult favorite’ status. The brand’s Spring/Summer 2014 collection, which was recently released, finds the brand taking a more pop-centric approach to its typically conspicuous aesthetic. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing though, as the brand offers approachable contemporary garb for the season. Predominantly sticking to a black color palette, lightly waxed pants, tonal material-blocked vests, and somewhat humorous messages across sweatshirts and tees sum up the collection here. Making reference to vintage baseball and football uniforms with jackets, short-sleeved casual shirts, and other silhouettes, UNDERCOVER effortlessly gives sportswear a modern twist. Enjoy a look at the UNDERCOVER Spring/Summer 2014 collection here, which will arrive at select retailers in the coming months.
