As part of the Campaign for Wool — a global venture initiated by His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales in 2010 – Lyle & Scott have partnered up with London-based Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design for Wool Week 2013. In support of raising awareness among consumers about the benefits of wool, Lyle & Scott took three design students under its wing. The ultimate goal was to develop, manufacture and exclusively sell one winning design for Wool Week over at Lyle & Scott’s newly opened flagship store on Carnaby Street. The winning design, by Kate Annis, is a 100% lambswool jumper made in Scotland and is priced at £160 GBP (approximately $255 USD). The tartan pattern, which is associated with the Royal Family, makes its way onto wool jumpers, offering a traditional British option for the fall/winter season. Check out the video above and look out for the wool jumper at Lyle & Scott’s flagship store on 1-2 Carnaby Street in London or head over to Lyle & Scott’s recently relaunched website.
