Reinterpreting one’s eating experience with audaciousness, American chef Craig Thornton blurs the line between culinary and artistic practice with “Cut Your Teeth.” Collaborating with artist Matthew Bone, the project presents a series of meals that creates a sensational bridge between your eyes and mouth. An evening curated by Thornton and Bone, the meals will explore notions of harvest and reproduction, life and death, and predator and prey. Captured by Jordan Bahat, the short film above shows Thornton and his team prepping for another Wolvesmouth event — a conceptual project which has inspired Thornton in his latest work. “Cut Your Teeth” runs at the Santa Monica Museum of Art from October 16 through to October 26, and in New York from November 7 to December 14.
