adidas returns with a new edition of the D Rose 4, this time paying respects to Bulls point guard Derrick Rose’s roots. The “Chicago Southside” as it’s called, emphasizes the traditional colors that followed Rose during his high school career: the bright blue front half of the shoe features a metallic finish to represent the trophies he earned at the time including two Illinois Class AA State Championships. This front part of the upper is notably perforated throughout to encourage circulation and comfort. Other features include a GEOFIT collar and SPRINTFRAME encompassing the back half of the shoe, contrasted with the same volt yellow as the laces, as well as the distinctive D Rose logo on the tongue and collar. Dropping on October 10, the D Rose 4 “Chicago Southside” will retail at $140 through adidas Basketball.
