Color your world with a 2013 Pantone calendar. Designed by Pentagram’s Eddie Opara, this wall-brightening piece is inspired by the Pantone Matching System (PMS) that designers and printers commonly use for specification to accurately reproduce hues. The familiar PMS chips have been worked into vibrant “digitized” images for each month to represent all 12 with varying month-appropriate themes: a penguin in January, red lips in February, rain boots in April, flowers in June, etc. Each month bears its own color and catchy tag, and each calendar day wears its own shade representing a different PMS chip and code. Fun facts also contribute color trivia to the hanging piece that will surely color your year.
