Nike’s latest Air Force 1 model commemorates the Chinese New Year and the “Year of the Snake.” Expanding upon their successful Foamposite series, the sneaker is once again the culmination of technology, beauty and substance. What makes this particular model special is in its aesthetic homage to the “Year of the Snake,” depicted in its understated black snake print – a detail intended to echo Kobe Bryant’s Black Mamba motif. The sneaker also features Nike’s signature Air unit, added for cushioning and additional style. Look for the Nike Air Force 1 Foamposite 2013 “Year of the Snake” at select Nike retailers January 18.
