Granted, it is in the nature of fashion designers to be meticulous, but in striving to be unique, some oversights can be made. Sometimes the right, unadulterated perspective can make a world of difference. Such is the case in Margaret Howell‘s 2013 fall collection, which recently debuted in London. The designer, who creates both men’s and women’s wear (as well as home products) brings an even perspective to this season. Full of woolen pea coats, thick knit tops and pants that are cut just so, this new offering is exceedingly strong. Indeed, it is the cross weave on sweaters, the subtle grey tones – the little details – that make Howell’s collection so memorable. The Margaret Howell 2013 collection will be available via the designer’s web store and at select retailers in the coming months.
