Advanced memory and storage mainstay Kingston has unveiled its latest offering – a terabyte worth of data in the miniscule size of a thumb drive. Dubbed the DataTraveller HyperX Predator, Kingston’s new 1TB flash drive offers read and write speeds reaching 240MB/s and 160MB/s for enhanced processing. This USB 3.0 drive come inside a zinc alloy metal casing for protection and comes with a five-year warranty for added peace of mind. Yet these pleasing distinctions – which leaves you carefree of digital storage constraints — will inevitably come at a stern price. The 512GB version “Data Traveler Hyper X” is available for $1,750, and there’s no news yet on how much the 1TB will set you back but expect a hefty price tag. Keep your eyes peeled for forthcoming news and let us know your thoughts below.
