Translated from Japanese to mean “beginning” or “start,” Tachiagari has become a rite synonymous with Dover Street Market. This biannual transition marks a change in the store each season — existing brands bring in new wares, new designers/labels are offered a retail haven for their products, and exciting shop-in-shops and gallery spaces bloom in both London and Ginza locations. New for 2013 is a celebration of spring at Dover Street Market Ginza, where shoppers will find a new jewelry corner on the first floor, BLACK PLAY COMME des GARÇONS in the elephant space, along with exclusive Delveaux bags and goods from Astronaut Peanut. Working their way up, customers will also be treated with a temporary Nike store-in-store on the fifth floor and a brand new Junya Watanabe space on the sixth, among other attractions. Tachiagari for Spring/Summer 2013 is taking place now at Dover Street Market Ginza.
