From the mysterious tightly-cropped shots of highly technical items against a backdrop of pure darkness, we see that British luxury menswear label COTTWEILER is taking the technical sophistication of its 2013 fall/winter offerings very seriously. The combination of high-performance fabrics and stripped-down minimalism results in items that are visibly sporty but tinged with a more formal utilitarian appeal. The palette is tonal with black being contrasted with sharp white accent tape and print. Once we look past the decidedly simple colored exterior, we come face to face with what lies under the hood including the TECNO WOOL trench coat, which despite its wool/cashmere handle features a breathable membrane that ensures that the user is at the same time cool, insulated and waterproof. In addition to these outer layers, the 15-piece collection was designed so that they could be combined with base layers in tech pique and mid-layers in showerproof nylon to create a lightweight outfit to suit various weather conditions.
