Easily one of the most anticipated movies as of late is the forthcoming 2013 rendition of The Great Gatsby. Adding to the energy surrounding the film, NPR has today unveiled the latest track “100$ Bill” from none other than Mr. Shawn Carter. Opening up with a bit of dialogue from the film itself, the production and samples throughout the cut give nod to DiCaprio’s lines throughout the film while adding to the nostalgic feel that has been perpetuated in the film’s trailers that have already been revealed. Jay-Z’s track along with other artists that include Beyoncé, André 3000, Lana Del Rey and Florence + the Machine is expected to debut on May 7. Viewers can catch The Great Gatsby‘s debut on May 10 in theaters.
