Sony‘s camera division has announced a new addition to its acclaimed E-mount camera line up with the Sony NEX-6. Aimed at enthusiasts, this new model packs built in Wi-Fi, a large Exmor APS HD CMOS sensor and a BIONZ image processor into a compact form. Offering up 16.1 effective megapixels for DSLR-quality shots and full HD video, this new camera promises to cover all the needs of an enthusiast photographer. Like its flagship brother the NEX-7, the NEX-6 boasts an OLED viewfinder to rival high-end optical viewfinders found on much higher priced cameras. The camera will launch in November alongside the company’s new 16-50mm F3.5-5.6 retractable power zoom lens. The bundled package will retail for $1,000 USD while the body-only package will retail for $850 USD.
