Despite there being less than a year to go until mastermind JAPAN finally closes its doors to the fashion world, the King of Collaborations isn’t slowing down any. For the 2012 fall/winter season, Carhartt have once again been enlisted to help create a new capsule collection. Consisting of three items, Carhartt have provided the base silhouettes for the garments, which include a coat, sweat parka and work pants, while mmJ has added some of its own touches such as improved materials, fur, golden zips and toggles, and various takes on the mmJ Skull motif. The 2012 fall/winter mastermind JAPAN x Carhartt capsule collection has been split over two release dates, with October seeing the launch of the coat and work pants and the sweat parka set to follow in December.
