Mark McNairy 2013 Spring/Summer Collection

Mark McNairy presented his latest 2013 spring/summer collection in his first-ever appearance at New York Fashion Week. The show, aptly titled “McNasty’s Rock & Roll Circus,” sees the designer continue to experiment with his signature humor-infused prep wear, which resulted in a quirky yet street-ready collection. Fans of McNairy’s aesthetic will appreciate his use of floral prints, earth globes set against a backdrop of camo, and provoking graphic tees. The collection also features more traditional items such as bomber jackets, button-down shirts and suits — some of which are reworked with the designer’s continued use of leopard print and polka dot motifs. In an effort to live up to the spirit of surprise one would find at a circus, McNairy ended the show on a high note by bringing in hip-hop artist and collection lookbook model Danny Brown, who donned a shiny gold suit Elvis would have been proud of.
