Made by Hand Examines the Craft of Cigars at The Cigar Shop

The Made by Hand series returns after a six-month-long hiatus with its fourth installment titled “The Cigar Shop.” The episode explores the art of cigar rolling and how the family-owned cigar store Martinez Cigars came to existence. Jesus Martinez explains how his father, Don Antonio Martinez, immigrated to New York City from the Dominican Republic in the mid ’70s and opened the store, which until this day maintains the same high level of craftsmanship and integrity in their hand-rolled cigars. Take a look at the video to witness the veteran craftsmen at their work.
