Hansel and Gretel get Grimm and Gory in Witch Hunters

Jeremy Renner and Gemma Arterton play brother and sister duo Hansel and Gretel in the upcoming American action horror film, Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters. The film is directed by Norwegian filmmaker Tommy Wirkola, maker of the Halloween night go-to zombie comedy, Dead Snow. Set 15 years after their traumatic incident at the gingerbread house, the siblings have grown up to become deadly bounty hunters devoted to exterminating witches. Recruited by their mayor to rid the town and nearby forests of a coven of black-hatters led by an evil sorceress, played by Famke Janssen, the duo must stop the witches from sacrificing local children whilst also dealing with a brutal local sheriff, played by Peter Stormare.
