Acronym 2012 Fall/Winter Collection

“Always bring an architect to a knifefight.” William Gibson — cyberpunk author and recent collaborator with German brand Acronym – wrote in his “custom crafted” quote in “12 point on the back of a t-shirt.” Regardless of the simplicity of this shirt (T-13), Acronym has clearly let their imaginations wander for this season’s collection to create a sleek, futuristic line with dark, brooding cloaks (CP2) and smoky metallic layers. Despite the fashion-forwardness of its new line, Acronym kept function in mind in expected fashion as fabrics include up-to-date technology meant to fend off the elements while remaining supremely breathable. Trousers (P10) and blazers (GT-J29) provide utility and fashion for everyday scenarios ideal for Gibson-esque futuristic dystopias.
