Now known as its own standalone brand, the SRT division from Chrysler Group has announced that they will be making an appearance at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance with the 2013 SRT Viper GTS Launch Edition model in tow. Set to take its place on the Concept Lawn, the Launch Edition will be sporting the iconic GTS blue paint with dual white racing stripes – the same paint job the prior Viper model’s sported for their respective debuts. In addition to the stunning paint job, the car also boasts five-spoke polished forged-aluminum wheels reminiscent of its predecessor’s wheels as well as a special commemorative plaque inside denoting its status as a Launch Edition model. From a performance angle, the 2013 Viper GTS boasts an all-aluminum, mid-engine 8.4 liter V-10 providing 640 horsepower and 600 lb.-ft. of torque. Chrysler, SRT’s parent company, is keeping quiet on how many Launch Editions will be produced. Stay posted for more information.
