PUMA Made In Japan Suede Classic

Having a longstanding history in working with some of the most iconic figures whilst developing its footwear, PUMA Japan has developed an understanding for what works and how to make a classic design fit in the present. Using the 1968 PUMA Suede basketball sneaker as the base, the Japanese division has infused portions from its successor, the ’80s Suede to create the Made In Japan Suede Classic. Crafted exclusively in its Japanese factory, the sneaker takes on a more narrow sole, while the toe box is shortened for a cleaner and sophisticated aesthetic. As the name suggests, premium suede is the material of choice (a heavier cut of suede is used this time around). The sneaker also sees a reduction in internal lining for a more worn vintage feel. For those interested in this nod to tradition and heritage, the sneaker will hit shelves early September at select PUMA stockists.
