The award-winning Architecture series from LEGO is taking on the Villa Savoye located on the outskirts of Paris, France with the line’s latest building set. A beautiful building in its own right, the modernist-style Savoye is widely regarded as one of the most influential works of architecture in France, which cemented the legacy of its architect Le Corbusier now reputed to be one of the most important design minds of the 20th century. As for LEGO’s 7.5-inch by 3.6-inch scale model of the building, the set will retail for $70 USD, and contains 660 pieces — a modest evening’s worth of work for most. The set is currently slated to hit select LEGO retailers in early September. Check out LEGO’s Architecture micro site for more information on the series.
