G-Star RAW by Marc Newson 2012 Fall/Winter Collection

Marc Newson is arguably one of the most accomplished and influential designers of our time. Having graduated from the Sydney College of the Arts with a degree in jewelry and sculpture design, the London resident has worked in a number of fields ranging from aircraft to fashion design utilizing a unique style dubbed biomorphism. His recent venture with famed denim purveyor G-Star RAW continues the ongoing partnership with a capsule collection for the 2012 fall/winter season. Newson has reworked a number of classic styles found in the Amsterdam-based label’s archive, giving them a modern twist with his unique sense of humor. The collection’s broad denim range is complemented by a traditional Wool Pea-Coat with technical zips as well as original bomber-styled jackets made with luxury fabrics like wool and suede. Additional items include premium blazers, vintage-inspired flight jackets and chinos.
