Israel’s Paz Gersh Architects present the G House built in Ramat HaSharon, Israel. Built around the mentality of preserving the preexisting garden, the design is centered on the balcony as a connecting space between the old and new portions of the property. The public spaces of the house such as the living room and kitchen were built parallel to the balcony, allowing the spaces to feel open to the exterior. Combining local references with contemporary Mediterranean design elements, the design marries both interior and exterior spaces to create a seamless feel.
