The tagline for dertbag‘s newest offering “From the beach to the hood in under 5 minutes” is in itself a testament to the brand’s desire to appeal to people of all walks of life. The newest collection features a series of T-shirts and tank tops styled with designer Philip Post’s unique aesthetic and knack for crafting designs that are as playful as they are meaningful. Amongst the offering are several new graphics including a braille design which translates to “Fuck You” and an update to the brand’s signature Cam’ron tee, reiterating Post’s affection for the Dipset rapper. Other items include a tee shirt version of the brand’s popular “NAHFUKIT” crewneck sweatshirt which was released last fall. Like its cold weather predecessor, the T-shirt is sun-faded to resemble classic New England preppy styling, while undermining the traditional aesthetic with an explicit message. The dertbag August 2012 release is set for Wednesday, August 29 at 9 p.m. via the brand’s online shop.
